Your child's moment to make art with joy. The JoA Art Club gives children the space to explore different artistic techniques in depth. Each trimester, a unique artistic project is designed with our artist-educators over 9 sessions, once a week.

    • We don't focus on a single technique — but on combining different techniques and materials to create playful projects that stimulate creativity and imagination.

  • Videos, board games, sculptures from recycled materials, full exhibitions from artwork to space design, beautiful travel journals... and much more to come.

  • At the end of each school term, every child's work is presented to families and friends. The result is always an individual and collective work of art, to which every child contributes their own sensitivity and talents.

  • Every Monday, 17:30 – 18:30. Drop-off between 17:15 and 17:30, pick-up between 18:30 and 18:45.

  • 20€ per trimester, with the option of two payments of 60€.

  • Registration is for the full school year. No refunds for missed sessions.

Maud

JoA co-founder Maud oversees the organisation and management of the Club. With 10 years of experience in education and social projects, she brings her expertise and enthusiasm to working with groups of children, her knowledge and passion for art, and her ability to design creative educational programmes.

Emma Lopes

Emma Lopes is an artivist: her art is a form of activism through the celebration of nature. She lives in Ericeira, where she creates paintings and illustrations for social and environmental organisations, with a particular focus on the ocean.
