At JoA, we believe every child deserves the joy of being in the audience.

That’s why we invite artists and companies to perform especially for children, in an intimate, human-scale setting where even the youngest can be moved, amazed, and introduced to the magic of live performance.

Puppetry, magic, music… Specific art forms, one shared intention: to open children’s eyes and ears to artistic creation, in short shows (30 to 45 minutes) designed for their pace and attention.

Each show, mostly by Portuguese artists, welcomes around fifty people so every child is truly close to the artist, fully present in the moment.

This summer at JoA:

This summer, give your children a space to explore, make and play! At JoA, we offer creative afternoons for kids aged 4 to 10 — mosaic, painting, clay, candle-making… each session is a brand-new artistic adventure, full of hands-on discovery and imagination.

Workshops run in July — weeks of 6–10, 20–24, and 27–31 — from 1:30 to 5:30 PM.

Pricing: €27.50 per session or €125 for a full week.
